The Apps Support Intmd Analyst position at Citi is ideal for a developing professional who can work independently to solve complex problems. As an Apps Support Intmd Analyst, your responsibilities will include providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. You will need to utilize your understanding of apps support procedures to address issues from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions, and collaborate with technology partners for long-term solutions. Acting as a liaison between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will participate in disaster recovery testing, application releases, post-release checkouts, and technical support documentation maintenance. You will also be involved in analyzing applications for risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, as well as cooperating with Development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements. Your work will directly impact the business by ensuring quality and efficiency, contributing to Support Project items, and demonstrating ownership of stability, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role should have 2-5 years of experience, basic knowledge of apps support procedures and technical areas, and an interest in process improvements. A basic understanding of financial markets, problem management tools, and technology strategy is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment. Education requirements include a Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience. Additional qualifications such as experience in supporting web-based applications, knowledge of microservices architecture, familiarity with tools like Kibana, Splunk, App Dynamics, Unix, SQL, Kubernetes, and exposure to OpenShift will be advantageous for this role.
