Apprentice

As an Apprentice at NEC Corporation India Private Limited, you will report to the Deputy Manager and be responsible for various tasks related to supply chain management. Your primary job responsibilities will include documenting business requirements, validating reports and submissions on SAP tool, and contributing subject matter expertise to domain roadmaps and capability assessments. You will also be required to function as a trusted partner, collaborator, and communicator within the organization. This role will involve making presentations and coaching opportunities with the senior SCM leadership team, establishing clear communication with contacts across the business, and managing materials, customer service, and productivity for given suppliers. Additionally, you will need to follow processes and SOPs, maintain SLAs, and raise PR and PO on SAP tool. Analyzing excess inventory, suggesting action plans, and POC for delivery management will also be part of your responsibilities. Being open to new learning opportunities and responsibilities aligned by the RM is essential in this role. Desired experience for this Supply Chain Internship includes the ability to work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, Warehouse, IT, and Finance. You should be a proactive team player and have the ability to build relationships quickly. A keen interest in pursuing a career in Operations, green management, corporate sustainability strategies, and sustainable business models is highly desirable. Candidates pursuing an MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management (with a desire for a career in Supply Chain Management) or graduates with good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint will be considered for this role.
