Your Opportunity

As an Applied AI Engineer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on applying machine learning and AI models to real-world business problems. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions—without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy

  AI/ML models

  for real-world use cases
• Apply machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques to business problems
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines, from data preprocessing to model deployment
• Integrate AI models into production systems and applications
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance over time
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered features
• Deliver reliable, production-ready AI solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Applied AI / Machine Learning

• Proficiency in

  Python

  and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
• Experience deploying models in production (APIs, cloud, or edge)
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems is a plus
• A self-driven freelancer who can independently own and deliver technical work
