Applications Support Engineer

You will be working at Optimum Info, where innovation and development of software solutions for the Network Development and Field Operations professions in the Automotive, Power Sports, and Equipment industries are paramount. Your role as an Engineer - Applications Support will involve deep understanding of supported applications, issue analysis, resolution, and excellent communication with end users. **Key Responsibilities** - Receive and log issues and requests through the organizations ticketing system. - Provide timely incident acknowledgment and response. - Classify and prioritize support tickets for resolution. - Clarify functionality and respond to end users" queries. - Analyze and close tickets within defined turnaround times. - Investigate and resolve issues or provide workarounds by querying databases. - Escalate bug reports and tickets to the next level of support. - Assist in issue resolution by coordinating with end users and documenting resolutions for building a knowledge base. **Desired Qualifications And Experience** - Quick learning ability of application features and functionality. - Proficiency in querying databases and using tools to guide users. - 1-2 years of experience in a professional services organization focusing on IT systems. - Experience in a customer-facing Application support role. - Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills. - Familiarity with .NET framework, C#, jQuery, Bootstrap, SQL Server, OR web application testing. - Exposure to public cloud environments, preferably Azure. **Education** - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. **Other Attributes** - Desirable knowledge of automotive sales and business processes. - Strong customer service orientation. - Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Focus on maintaining detailed documentation. - Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Proficiency in MS Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to work in assigned shifts with structured handovers at the start and end of shifts.,
