Summary:Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation that powers SAP business applications.Work closely with CloudOps teams to automate manual recurring tasks, streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure scalability across multiple cloud environments.
Manage high risk / complex projects, define deliverables and provide definitive advice and interpretation of situations in order to deliver quality outcomesDiscover and analyze business requirements and architect scalable, forward-thinking technical solutions for Infrastructure automationTake ownership of production support by proactively troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and driving root cause analysis to prevent recurrenceDesign, build, and continuously enhance automation frameworks to bootstrap virtual machines at the operating system level, and configure software installed thereinConduct thorough code reviews, integration testing, and documentation to uphold the reliability and maintainability of deployments
Roles & Responsibilities:12+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in designing, building, and supporting infrastructure automation with Kubernetes on hyperscalers (AWS or GCP+).A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear of learning something new. You should be open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teachProficient in DevOps tasks and build strategic partnerships with architects, software engineers, and SREsAbility to participate in an on-call rotation to support automation implemented by the teamProficiency with Python and shell scriptingStrong understanding of enterprise automation, and modern software engineering practices and hands-on experience with:Ansible configuration management tool, including writing custom modules for AnsibleLinux (RHEL, SUSE, etc.) at an administrative level, and willingness to work with WindowsHigh availability configurations, including autoscalingInfrastructure Orchestration Tools such as TerraformContainer Orchestration Technologies such as KubernetesIntegrations with monitoring systems such as Dynatrace or ELK stackExperience in networking, virtualization, and serverless technologiesExperience with GitOps pipelines for deploying cloud infrastructure with version controlKnowledge of application security concepts like encryption (at rest and in transit) and the use of certificates and secrets within an application. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with product managers, - Enterprise architects, and technical leadsExcellent communication in English.

Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.A 15 years full time education is required.
