Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of systems, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of the applications you support. Roles & Responsibilities:?¢Administer and support Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).?¢Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts.?¢Oversee patch management lifecycle using Tanium, SCCM, or equivalent tools.?¢Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation, ensuring timely closure of security findings.?¢Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or other tools) for patching, compliance reporting, and system health checks.?¢Lead root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for system, performance, and infrastructure issues.?¢Ensure compliance with corporate security and IT governance policies.?¢Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Network, and Application) to ensure seamless operations.?¢Maintain comprehensive operational and technical documentation. Skills:

?¢8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization.?¢Hands-on expertise with Tanium for patching, compliance, and endpoint management.?¢Proven experience in automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages.?¢Strong background in vulnerability remediation and security compliance.?¢Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.?¢Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).?¢Effective communication and documentation skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in VMware Virtualization Administration.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
