As an Application Support - Corporate Digital Banking at Barclays, your role involves supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, ensuring agreed quality, and governance standards. Your main focus will be to drive innovation and excellence in the evolution of digital landscape, utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance digital offerings and provide unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve complex issues for a specific client or group of clients. - Develop the support model and service offering to enhance service to customers and stakeholders. - Execute preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software, utilizing monitoring tools/metrics to identify and address potential issues for optimal performance. - Maintain a knowledge base with detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities, and knowledge sharing. - Analyze system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify root causes of hardware, software, and network issues and provide resolutions. - Identify, remediate, or escalate potential service impacting risks and issues through appropriate processes. - Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure timely identification of issues. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in application/technical support. - Proficiency in incident/problem management. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix, Oracle/SQL Server, aPaaS, AWS, Autosys, AppD. - Basic understanding of Core Banking Application. - Highly valued skills may include Java, AppDynamics, ELK & Wily, Netcool, Unix/Linux scripting, ITIL V3/V4, knowledge/experience of Oracle flexcube application product suite. - Ability to support complex applications during recoveries in high-pressure situations and provide on-call support with flexibility around working hours.,
