As an Application Support - Corporate Digital Banking at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects within the agreed plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. Your responsibilities will involve spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in digital offerings to deliver unparalleled customer experiences. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in application/technical support, incident/problem management, and be proficient in technologies such as Linux/Unix, Oracle/SQL Server, aPaaS, AWS, Autosys, and AppD. A basic understanding of Core Banking Application will also be beneficial. Additionally, highly valued skills include proficiency in Java, AppDynamics, ELK & Wily, Netcool, Unix/Linux scripting, ITIL V3/V4, and knowledge/experience of Oracle flexcube application product suit. You should also be capable of supporting complex applications during recoveries in high-pressure situations and be flexible with working hours for on-call support. Your primary objective in this role will be to effectively monitor and maintain the bank's critical technology infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues while minimizing operational disruptions. You will provide technical support for service management, execute preventative maintenance tasks, maintain a knowledge base, analyze system logs to identify root causes, and implement resolutions through automation and monitoring enhancements. As an Analyst, you are expected to perform activities in a timely and high standard manner, leveraging your technical expertise to lead and supervise a team, allocate work requirements, and coordinate team resources. Your role may involve leadership responsibilities, where you will demonstrate clear leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver excellent results. You will partner with other functions and business areas, take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls, and demonstrate a deep understanding of how your area of expertise integrates with organizational objectives. Additionally, you will resolve problems, guide team members, communicate complex information, and act as a contact point for stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
