Application Maintenance- JAVA

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IT Development and Support process in an Agile support environment. Your key duties will include designing, implementing, and managing improvements to the process. Additionally, you will be developing web applications using Java 8, Spring, Spring MVC, and Oracle. Troubleshooting web applications hosted in Tomcat and monitoring applications using appropriate tools will also be part of your role. Your responsibilities will extend to utilizing tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, TeamCity, and Octopus. You will collaborate with offshore teams, oversee IT application support, and engage in client-facing support activities. This will include Ticket Management, Service Requests, SLA management, Service management, Major Incident Management, On-call support, and other crucial application support functions. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in application development/support, preferably with a Java background. Strong IT management skills, focusing on Apps and SDLC, are essential. Excellent communication skills are a must, and it would be advantageous to have a background in .NET.
