About The Role

Project Role :Application Lead

Project Role Description :Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
Must have skills :Site Reliability Engineering

Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with organizational goals, addressing any challenges that arise, and providing guidance to team members to foster a productive work environment. You will also engage in strategic discussions to enhance application performance and reliability, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the decision-making process.
Roles & Responsibilities

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Monitor application performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure application reliability.

Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues effectively.

Proven SRE skills to support application resilience and recoverability. Ie. Experience in this specific role, client will interview the candidates.

Familiar with SLO definition and implementation and error budgets

Tools such as Nobl9 and Dynatrace

Fluency in articulating what SRE is, how to design good SLOs...

SLO as code, preferably Terraform
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.

This position is based in Pune.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
