Summary:We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Associate Manager to lead a team of DBAs, ensure seamless database operations, and deliver high-quality database management services for critical client environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle Database technologies, combined with proven leadership skills to manage a global DBA team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities:Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle databases (versions 11g/12c/19c) across production and non-production environments.Oversee performance tuning, database optimization, and proactive monitoring to ensure high availability.Ensure database security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and client standards.Manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN/Data Guard.Oversee database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities with minimal downtime.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Oracle DBAs, including offshore and onshore resources.Allocate work, track deliverables, and ensure SLA adherence.Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and training sessions for the DBA team.Support team members on complex technical escalations and act as the primary escalation point.Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless database operations.Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions related to database services.Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding ongoing projects, database performance, and incident resolutionsOversee database-related deliverables for new client transitions and greenfield implementations.Participate in solution design discussions and provide input on database architecture and capacity planning.Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handover between project and support teams Professional & Technical
