Project Role : Application Lead Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have skills : SAP BW/4HANA Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years of fulltime education Summary :As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications using SAP BW/4HANA. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet client needs. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW/4HANA solutions, acting as the primary point of contact for the project. This Role is for the development, Unit/Regression testing of BW Application - The key responsibility includes building BW application in consultation with Customer/Client, making sure that the Report performance is in expected line and work with Run team for the handover & support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP BW/4HANA and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working - BW related ABAP knowledge and debugging skills - Knowledge on SAP BW Queries/CDS views Professional & Technical Skills: 6-8 years of overall experience in BW data modelling with minimum 7 years of development experience in BW on HANA (BW 7.5, BW/4HANA) Skilled in interpreting functional requirements, capturing and documenting non-functional requirements and documenting technical requirements Experience in designing end to end data models in BW/4HANA including definition and documentation of the overall architecture Experience with integrating BW with various SAP and Non-SAP backend systems/sources of data. Hands-on experience working with SAP BW on HANA (BW/4HANA), custom SAP BW Extractors, transformations, advanced DSOs, composite providers in BW. Good experience in developing BW queries from scratch keeping in mind performance aspect. Must To Have Skills:Strong experience in SAP BW/4HANA. Good To Have Skills:Experience in SAP HANA, SAP BOBJ, and SAP BODS. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using SAP Data Services or similar tools. Experience in developing and maintaining SAP BW/4HANA objects, including InfoObjects, InfoSources, InfoCubes, and DSOs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
