Application Engineer II-C .NET Backend

Role Overview: You will be joining as a Backend Engineer in an agile squad, where you will work alongside Technical Squad Leads to deliver high-quality code and provide technical expertise. The Backend is written in C# running on .NET version 8 and utilizes various Azure Cloud Services. You will be working on SwiftRe, an Azure Cloud based application with a worldwide user base, high security standards, and integration into the full value chain of Swiss Re. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of the Backend system written in C# on .NET version 8 - Collaborate with Technical Squad Leads on solution design and coding - Work on SwiftRe application, ensuring high security and compliance standards - Support the successful delivery of innovative features and solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment - Design (micro-) service solutions using synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns - Interact effectively with the team through excellent written and verbal communication in English Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12+ years of experience in the Technology field - At least 5 years of experience with .NET/C# focusing on transactional enterprise applications - Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technology/concepts - Experience in solution design using synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns - Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field About the Company: Swiss Re is a leading provider of reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer.
