Application Engineer II-C .NET Backend

Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer at the company, you will be part of an agile squad working alongside Technical Squad Leads to code, provide technical expertise, and assist with solution design. The Backend is written in C# on .NET version 8, utilizing various Azure Cloud Services such as AKS, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and ASB. You will be contributing to SwiftRe, a globally used Azure Cloud application that integrates into the full value chain of Swiss Re, meeting high security and compliance standards with state-of-the-art technology stacks. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of high-quality code for the Backend written in C# on .NET - Collaborate with the team to ensure successful delivery of innovative features and solutions - Participate in (micro-) service solution design using synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns - Utilize relational and non-relational database technology/concepts effectively - Work in an agile environment to empower the team and deliver value to users - Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, to interact with the team Qualifications Required: - Over 12 years of experience in the Technology field - 5+ years of experience with .NET/C#, preferably focusing on transactional enterprise applications - Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technology/concepts - Experience in (micro-) service solution design using synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns - Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Note: No additional details about the company are provided in the job description.
