Application Engineer - FinTech, Payments

You should hold a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field along with two years of experience in the job offered or in roles such as Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, Developer, or similar occupations. Alternatively, a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field plus five years of relevant experience can be considered equivalent to the Masters degree requirement, along with two years of experience. Your previous experience should include at least one year of developing solutions for Oracles e-business suite. This involves proficiency with Oracles development tools like SQL and PLSQL, reports, forms, BI publisher, Workflow Build, and JDeveloper. As part of our team that manages Oracle ERP and custom software platforms of significant volume and complexity, you will be expected to handle technical and functional tasks effectively. You will have the opportunity to contribute to architectural decisions, develop new features, optimize programs, and create scalable solutions within Oracle EBS R12 and other ERP applications. Our team fosters innovation, and we look for individuals who can take ownership of technical architecture and project delivery. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and enhance applications within Oracle e-business suite and open source technologies. - Develop technical specifications, configure standard applications, and customize forms and reports. - Create new forms and reports, build interfaces in and out of the e-business suite, and provide end user support for applications across multiple geographies. - Lead Junior Developers, provide support for critical production issues, and be part of the on-call team. - Additional programming skills like Perl and Java are beneficial but not mandatory. - Strong functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment is required. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication across technical and functional teams are essential. - Proficient in root cause analysis, complex problem-solving, SQL, and PL/SQL best practices. - Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications for highly available and scalable global solutions. - Experience in prioritizing tasks, scoping large projects, and negotiating timelines is necessary for this role.,
