Application Development & Support Specialist (Mendix)

Role Overview: You will be part of Vertiv's CoE application area, focusing on implementing bugfixes and enhancements to the Connected CE application on the Mendix platform. Your role involves developing new enhancements, troubleshooting and bugfixing, performing QA for new applications release, supporting the release process, updating product documentation, interacting with external vendors, and mentoring business developers. The context and activities of this role are international and global in scope, requiring engagement with diverse global functions and cultures. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new enhancements over the Mendix platform - Troubleshoot and fix open issues - Perform QA for new applications release - Support the release process by creating new application builds - Update product documentation - Interact with external vendors - Mentor business developers Qualification Required: - Fluency in English (oral and written) - Excellent knowledge of the Mendix low-code-no-code platform - Good knowledge of web services, RESTful principles, and an understanding of microservices - Good knowledge of interfaces to third-party systems (ERP, CMS, etc.) - Good knowledge of React-Native - Good knowledge of Native app technologies - Good knowledge of IT applications architecture - Good knowledge of Jira - Basic knowledge of ITSM processes - Basic knowledge of IT infrastructures Additional Company Details: Occasional international travel may be required, up to 1 per year. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Bachelor's degree with a preference for Information Systems or Computer Science as the field of study, 3+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and server-side frameworks, 5+ years of experience on the Mendix platform, and either a Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification or Advanced Developer Certification.,
