Application Development Manager (Salesforce with Java/.Net)

Our Application Development teams at UPS Technology are responsible for developing next-generation technology that tracks and moves millions of packages daily. By working closely with customers, we aim to build innovative technologies customized to drive our business and enhance the customer experience. As a member of our applications development family, you will contribute to UPS's growth and provide valuable services globally. Minimum qualifications for this role include 17+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role. You will be responsible for leading Salesforce development projects, overseeing cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities of this role include: - Leading Salesforce development projects, including architecture, design, and implementation of custom solutions - Overseeing and coordinating cross-functional teams across Salesforce, Java, and .NET platforms - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to developers, managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive continuous improvement in development processes - Ensuring compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards, and facilitating integration between Salesforce and legacy systems Required skills and experience for this position include proven experience managing enterprise application development teams in Salesforce, Java, and .NET environments, a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations, deep knowledge of Java and .NET frameworks, excellent leadership and communication skills, experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, and Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, and Platform Architect certification.
