Application Development AVP

As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at our company, your role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. You will contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, and risk technology - Develop applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs - Monitor and control all phases of the development process - Provide user and operational support on applications to business users - Analyze complex problems/issues and provide evaluation of business process - Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis - Consult with users/clients and recommend advanced programming solutions - Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members - Assess risk when making business decisions - Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of relevant experience - Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the work performed.
