Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support business operations. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, ensuring that the applications you develop align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate in end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, covering configuration of:oConsolidation Units, FS Items, Versions, CategoriesoCurrency Translation, Intercompany Eliminations, COI (Consolidation of Investments)Interact with client finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.Work on data integration using GRDC, flat file uploads, and integration with ACDOCA.Support ICMR (Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation) setup and execution within Data Monitor tasks.Assist in Fiori-based reporting delivery.Assist in design documentation:Business Blueprint, Functional Specs (FSD), and Test Scripts.Support data validation, testing, training, and cutover activities during go-lives.Work collaboratively with onshore/offshore teams in agile or waterfall delivery models
Professional & Technical Skills:
3+ years of Finance/overall experience including at least 2+ years of hands-on SAP Group Reporting implementationStrong understanding of legal consolidation, intercompany processes, elimination logic, and accounting principlesHands-on experience with:oSAP S/4HANA Group ReportingoSAP Fiori apps, AFO, and GRDCICMR matching and reconciliation use casesExperience in at least 1 end-to-end implementation of Group Reporting.Strong communication and client-facing skillsAbility to collaborate in a dynamic and multicultural environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesSAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) – especially BPC for NetWeaver (Standard/Embedded) on Consolidation, or BPC for BW/4HANA on ConsolidationSAP BCS (Business Consolidation System) Other EPM / Consolidation Tools (Non-SAP)Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream, Tagetik
Additional Information:This position is based at our Pune office.A 15 years full time education is required.
