Project Role : Application Designer Project Role Description : Assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : COBOL Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Education for 15 yrs Summary :As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements using COBOL. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing requirements, and designing applications to meet business needs. Roles & Responsibilities: Design and develop applications using COBOL programming language. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the application meets business needs. Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using COBOL. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in COBOL programming language. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles. Experience with relational databases and SQL. Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting applications developed using COBOL. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in COBOL programming language. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions using COBOL.
