Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage application of fragrances and develop product formulations as per global standards for various FMCG categories & products including Fine Fragrance, Personal Wash, Body Care, Hair Care, Fabric Care, Home Care, Air Care, Men’s Grooming, Baby Care, Pet Care, and Cosmetics.
• Develop, test, and optimize formulations to ensure stability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with sales, marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to translate customer briefs into technical solutions.
• Manage application projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Keep proper records of all product trials, formulas, and test results.
• Provide technical input during customer presentations and support the sales team during customer visits.
• Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to propose innovative applications.
• Manage and mentor application technologists and lab technicians.
• Oversee daily lab operations, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years’ experience in fragrance, cosmetic, personal care, or home care industry.
• Strong understanding of fragrance/flavor behavior in various bases (e.g., surfactants, emulsions, aerosols, etc.).

Skills:

• Technical formulation expertise and strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (IFRA, GHS, FDA, etc.).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
