Job Summary The Appium Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in mobile app testing and automation frameworks. Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement automated test scripts using Appium and Java. Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to identify bugs and performance issues. Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements. Utilize Playwright for cross-browser testing and ensure compatibility across different devices. Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Qualifications and Requirements 3-6 years of experience in mobile app testing, with a focus on automation. Proficiency in Appium and Java. Experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks. Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Adaptability to new technologies and tools. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
