Role & responsibilities Functions in a leadership and supervisory role for staff nurses. Responsible for assisting with supervision, direction and coordination of nursing personnel. Makes appropriate room and care giver assignments to optimize patient placement and workload balance throughout the shift. Develops objectives for the management of the unit. Ensure staff discipline. Works with the Nursing- HOD on improving patient care and customer satisfaction. Promotes environment of cooperation and mutual support to maintain focus on patient care; anticipates and supports needs of other staff. Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate delegation skill and develop good interpersonal relationship with patient, staff, physicians and visitors. Maintains quality of patient care including compliance with prescribed treatment and hospital policy. Utilizes all personnel available to obtain maximum patientcare services. Evaluates work performed by all staff members and inform staff of information necessary to the performance of their jobs. Investigates and identifies nursing problems and grievances and assist in their solutions, reports resolved and unresolved results to the Nursing- HOD. Assists on orientation of new personnel and participate in continuing educational program and clinical nurse training. Conducts regular staff meetings with the staff. Prepared weekly duty Rota Ensure to give adequate coverage of staff for 24 hrs. Operates the unit within budgeted levels of staffing, supplies and equipment-recommends staffing patterns and standard of Nursing Care. Reports and document all accidents / incident to patients, visitors or staff. Report promptly any unusual occurrence to the Nursing Supervisor/ Nursing - HOD. e.g. medication errors, complaint, VIP's or staff admitted, etc Performs extra duties when called upon especially on an emergency. Maintains uptodate knowledge and practice of nursing trends and new developments in the health field. Coordinates health education program in the unit. Supervises other non-nursing personnel in the unit. Conducts periodical survey to ensure nursing care standards. Ensures patientcare services according to established procedures and policies in the unit. Ensure assistance to doctors in procedures and other related duties. Meets patients regularly to ensure maximum care and ascertain need for additional or modified services. Supervises maintenance of records of nursing and medical treatment and related services carried out by nursing personnel. Ensures proper utilization of supplies and power to avoid wastage. Maintains adequate supplies and equipment for daily use and carry out periodic inventory. Assists in the safekeeping of valuables. Safeguards patients' safety at all times. Ensures work place is always neat and clean. Acts promptly in emergency situation.

Role & responsibilities The overall responsibility of the Hospitals fire protection system. To manage the respective section in day-to-day activities with respect to subordinate. To organize manpower, materials for the day-to-day activities. To develop/update, implement, provide necessary training and oversight the Fire Plan. Report verbally to Head of Engineering Department any fire or safety hazards discovered by him. Ensure that the overall activities meet the requirements of quality management and environmental policies and legal stipulations. (As per fire norm) Provide Fire safety training to all employees, conduct Fire Mock drill and such types of awareness programme in our Hospitals. Ensure active Fire Protection System, such as Fire Hydrant system, Fire extinguishers, Fire Alarm smoke detector system, Sprinkler system keep in good condition. To carry out all routine, preventive maintenance scheduling. Respond Emergency Non Emergency incidents quickly. Recognize the necessity to continually develop skills. To actively participate in all quality and patient safety improvement activities across the organization To implement and overlook the FMS plans and Quality Improvement processes if any. To participate comprehensively all quality program. To perform any job /work as and when assigned by the superior.
