Description

To be able to work on high demand environment where the person must involve in reviewing the designs of rest API and could be able to develop proxies locally and automate the deployment process.

You will fit this role if you meet the following criteria.

• Development/configuration of new API on Apigee.
• Strong in reviewing the specification files/swagger files
• Should be able to suggest the teams on refactoring the schemas that are acceptable by all apps
• Should able to achieve zero downtime for all the proxies
• Have an active enthusiasm in automation areas
• Strong in apigee policies like caching, access entity policy and raise fault policies
• Strong in security like OAuth and MTLS
• Policy, credentials and any other administration of existing API.
• Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
• Engage with development team throughout the life cycle in ensuring minimal refactoring or changes.
• Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed.
• Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude. When you see something broken, you can't help but fix it.
• Have an urge to collaborate and communicate asynchronously.
• Have an urge for delivering quickly and iterating fast.
• Strong in basics

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other Engineering field.
• 3+ years with Apigee with AWS expertise.

Technical Experience:

• Experience with identifying API from business processes design and implementing API using latest and emerging technology.
• Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and end point configuration.
• Hands on any modern API Gateways, preferably Apigee.
• Knowledge of REST best practices preferred.
• Understanding of Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Sonar, Splunk, Maven, AIM and/ or Continuous Delivery tools.
• Knowledge on Key AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, DynamoDB (NoSQL), Lambda, logging/CloudWatch, IAM, Certificate Manager, ELB, EBS, ECS, CloudFront/WAF, SQS, SNS, SES.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting SLO, SLA, SLIs defined in the Operations model.
• Participate on-call /on-rotation.
• Improve latencies for the overall turnaround time.
