APIGEE Architect

Role Overview: As a Java (Apigee) Architect, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and overseeing the transition from an on-premises Apigee setup to Apigee Hybrid. Your expertise in API management will be crucial in determining the best solution for clients and ensuring a smooth and efficient migration. This role involves providing technical leadership, architectural oversight, and hands-on support throughout the migration process. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical architecture leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and support of the platform - Manage and configure API Gateway for optimal performance and security - Oversee day-to-day operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of APIs - Implement and enforce best practices for API design, security, and performance - Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process regarding API management solutions - Lead the evaluation and migration from Apigee on-prem to Apigee Hybrid - Mentor and train team members on Apigee best practices and tools Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields - 10+ years of experience working on Java development or mission-critical development/support engagements - Proven experience working with Apigee or similar API management software in mission-critical support engagements - Strong understanding of API management concepts and best practices - UNIX/Linux commands knowledge - Cassandra or similar DB experience - Experience with Apigee administration, configuration, and development - Familiarity with Apigee Hybrid and its deployment architecture - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and leadership abilities - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Additional Details: Omit this section as no additional details of the company are present in the provided job description.,
