We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior API Developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Apigee API Gateway , Amazon Web Services (AWS) , and Kubernetes . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing secure, scalable, and efficient API solutions to support business applications and integration initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy API proxies using Google Apigee Edge/Apigee X . Implement API policies for security, traffic management, transformation, and mediation. Manage CI/CD pipelines for API deployments in cloud-native environments. Integrate APIs with AWS services including Lambda , API Gateway , S3 , DynamoDB , SNS/SQS , etc. Develop and deploy microservices-based architecture using Kubernetes and container technologies like Docker. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and application developers. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API and cloud-based workloads. Ensure API security and compliance with enterprise standards and best practices. Required Skills: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee API Gateway (Edge or X). Strong expertise in AWS ecosystem and its services relevant to microservices and APIs. Solid understanding and working knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js . Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI). Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch , etc. Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2.0, JWT, API Key, mTLS). Preferred Qualifications: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer / Solutions Architect). Experience in DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of Istio or service mesh frameworks. Experience working in Agile environments.

Position : Senior API Developer (Apigee) Location: Hyderabad, Hybrid M Mandatory 3 day a week Experience: 6-8 Years Essential Skills 1. Apigee experience: Look for 1-2 years of experience with Apigee API proxy development, including Apigee Edge and Apigee X. 2. API development: Ensure the candidate has 3+ years of API development experience, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and FHIR. 3. Programming skills: Verify proficiency in Java, C#, or JavaScript, as well as experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and API security best practices (OAuth 2.0). 4. Cloud experience: Preferably, the candidate should have experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Desirable Skills 1. EHR integration: Look for experience integrating with EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Oracle Health. 2. API security: Ensure the candidate is familiar with API security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, SMART on FHIR, and JWT. 3. DevOps and monitoring: Experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, as well as monitoring tools like Splunk, is a plus. Soft Skills 1. What you will be doing As an Apigee Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the API onboarding process, working closely with API producer teams, architects, engineers, and technical writers to ensure a smooth and successful API integration. This role requires a deep understanding of API technologies, API design and development, and Apigee. Working with API Producer team to deploy their Apigee API proxies Working with API Consumer to assist them in accessing Apigee APIs Monitor and manage relevant support channels to support API Producer and Consumers Participate in Producer and Consumer troubleshooting meetings to resolve issues Submitting and managing relevant support tickets to resolve support issues Attending relevant Stakeholder and Team meetings Developing, testing, and maintaining Apigee artifacts Understand and develop Apigee artifact as per the solution design Build the Apigee framework that supports the API first platform Manage the source code in Gitlab What we are looking for You'll need to have Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience with Apigee development. You should have a relevant associates degree, bachelors degree or higher preferred You should be able to work in a fast-paced development environment You should be able to manage priorities and deadlines You will need to have a strong understanding of Apigee, APIs, and API management concepts, including Apigee components and deployment models You should have hands-on experience with api proxy development using Apigee provided policies as well as custom policy development You should have hands-on experience with shared flow development for cross cutting concerns e.g., security, error handling, logging, and traffic management You should also have hands-on experience in creating custom policies using java callout You have experience troubleshooting Apigee APIs and proxies deployment and access issues
