Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Perform
manual testing
of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
Conduct
API testing
using tools like
Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured
to validate request and response accuracy.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like
JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
.
Perform
functional, regression, smoke, integration, and system testing
to ensure software reliability.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Write SQL queries to validate database records and ensure backend testing.
Work with automation teams to identify test scenarios that can be automated in the future.
Provide detailed test execution reports and participate in defect triage meetings.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends in manual and API testing methodologies.
