API Operations Trainee

We are looking for a Junior Developer with hands-on experience working with APIs, including integrating, testing, and debugging them. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Postman, understand how APIs work, and have basic development skills to assist with building and maintaining API-based features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate

  REST APIs

  into existing systems
• Test APIs using

  Postman

  to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot API issues and debug integration problems
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features
• Document API workflows and integration steps
• Assist in improving API performance and handling error responses

Required Skills

• Basic programming knowledge in

  any backend language

  (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, etc.)
• Understanding of

  REST APIs

  , JSON, HTTP methods, authentication
• Hands-on experience with

  Postman

• Ability to debug API requests/responses
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger/Postman Collections)
• Understanding of CI/CD basics
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
