Job Description

We are seeking an experienced API Developer with a strong background in Apigee and Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing APIs, as well as a deep understanding of API management platforms. This role involves end-to-end development, unit testing, deployment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage APIs using Apigee.
Develop and execute unit tests for API components and ensure high-quality deliverables. Implement fault handling, logging, and monitoring solutions to enhance API reliability. Provide testing support, troubleshoot defects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and mitigate development roadblocks. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all work, adhering to industry standards and methodologies.

Qualifications:

4-5+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee.
Proficiency in Java with at least 1-2 years of practical experience. Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and development processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
