Job Description

As an API Automation Tester, your role involves ensuring the quality and performance of APIs through rigorous automated testing. You will be responsible for: - Performing Automation Testing using Java RestAssured. - Conducting API testing using Postman. - Developing and maintaining test scripts following BDD or TDD methodologies. - Utilizing Cucumber or similar frameworks that support BDD. - Working with Jenkins and Maven for automation execution. - Validating JSON files and ensuring structured data testing. - Writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation. - Conducting manual testing where necessary to complement automation efforts. - Utilizing test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr for tracking and reporting. - Implementing best practices in Object-Oriented Programming (Java). - Following Agile methodologies for efficient process management. - Adhering to software testing principles and methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.
