Title: API automation - REST-Assured Location: Chennai/Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Department: IT Development Experience: 7+ Years Job Type: Work from Office (WFO) 3 days Shift Timing: 1pm to 10 pm Must Have Skills:• to 8 years of hands-on REST Assured API Automation experience • Hands-on experience on Rest Assured -Mocking / Services • to 5 years of experience in Banking domain • Hands-on experience UI Automation BBD Cucumber, Java, Selenium • Hands-on SQL experience in data validation & verification using SQL • Hands-on experience JIRA JTMF Your future duties and responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for functional, regression, and API testing. Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders. Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Perform end-to-end testing of web applications and REST APIs, ensuring high-quality releases. Troubleshoot issues with test scripts and the applications being tested. Perform performance testing for API services using Rest Assured and other performance testing tools. Document test results, log defects, and follow through on issue resolution with development teams. Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices. Work closely with developers to design, develop, and execute the automated tests in parallel with development work. Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes and frameworks. Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Required qualifications to be successful in this role API Automation- Minimum 2 year of hands on Rest Assured Automation experience - Hands on Rest Assured -Mocking / Services experience - Hands on UI Automation experience - Java , Selenium
