Position: Tracking Developer (Contract/Freelance) Compensation: $500 USD for implementation, 2-3 hour coaching sessions teaching implementation Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are looking for an experienced developer to set up a custom server-side tracking pipeline to keep conversion optimization active for Health & Wellness advertising accounts on Meta. This is not a standard pixel install — you must understand how to build a compliant, custom event tracking system that bypasses Meta’s Health & Wellness restrictions without breaking policy. What You’ll Build (Custom Core Setup)GTM Web → capture browser-side interactions. Custom Events → replace Meta’s restricted standard events (Purchase, Lead, AddToCart) with custom ones (e.g., PurchaseC, OrderPlaced) while retaining parameters. sGTM (Stape or other hosting) → configure a secure server-side GTM container. Meta Conversions API (CAPI) → send events from our verified domain to Meta with match keys for accurate attribution. Attribution Layer → ensure full tracking integrity with browser + server event IDs (event_id, fbp, fbc). Responsibilities Install, configure, and test server-side GTM hosting (Stape or equivalent). Implement custom event naming conventions for Health & Wellness compliance. Configure and deploy Meta CAPI pipelines from server-side GTM. Map browser events → custom server events while maintaining parameters. Test event firing, match rates, and optimization readiness. Provide documentation for the setup. Requirements Proven experience with Google Tag Manager (web + server). Strong knowledge of Meta CAPI and event tracking for ads. Familiarity with Health & Wellness category restrictions on Meta is compulsory Ability to configure custom events for conversion optimization. Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, GoHighLevel or custom checkouts a plus (but not required). Why This Matters Meta restricts Health & Wellness events (Purchase, Lead, etc.), which kills optimization. Our setup solves this by implementing custom events via server-side CAPI — Meta recommends this, but most devs don’t know how to do it correctly. We need someone who can build this pipeline end-to-end so our campaigns stay optimized, accurate, and future-proof. How to Apply Send: Examples of past GTM/CAPI setups you’ve done. A quick note on your experience with custom events and server-side tracking. Your expected timeline.
