About The Gig

We are looking for an

AOSP Engineer

to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), system bring-up, HAL development, and BSP integration for embedded platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and optimize Android-based systems for custom hardware.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
• Solve complex problems using strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Work with Linux-based systems to develop, test, and deploy embedded applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile sprints to deliver production-grade
  

features.

• Integrate communication protocols such as TCP/IP and MQTT into software modules.
• Utilize Git for source control and version management.
• Write shell scripts to automate development and deployment tasks.
• Participate in peer code reviews, debugging sessions, and sprint planning.
  

What You Bring

• Proficiency in C++, including object-oriented programming concepts.
• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience or strong familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
• Basic knowledge of Git, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.
• Ability to write and debug Bash/Shell scripts.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, and MQTT protocol.
• Familiarity with Java (even at an academic level).
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
• Hands-on exposure to hardware-level projects, microcontrollers, or boards like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.
• Understanding of automotive protocols and systems (e.g., CAN, UDS).
• Experience using Android tools such as ADB and Fastboot.
• Internship or academic project related to embedded systems or IoT.
