As a System Administrator at Azentio, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems such as 2016, 2019, and 2022. Your role will involve managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and user/group provisioning. It will be essential to perform regular system updates, patch management, and ensure OS hardening to maintain optimal system security. In addition to system administration tasks, you will be required to administer and maintain virtualization environments using platforms like Hyper-V and VMware. Monitoring server performance, availability, and resource utilization will also be part of your responsibilities. Configuring and managing Windows Defender, firewall rules, and antivirus policies are crucial for ensuring a secure IT environment. As part of your role, you will need to maintain and operate backup solutions such as Veeam and Windows Backup. Supporting and managing Microsoft services like WSUS, IIS, and RDS will also be within your scope. Implementing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans will contribute to the overall resilience of the IT infrastructure. Documentation plays a key role in this position. You will be responsible for maintaining system documentation, diagrams, and change records. Troubleshooting system issues, responding to incidents, and collaborating with the support/helpdesk team are vital aspects of ensuring smooth system operations. Participating in audits and compliance-related activities, coordinating with application and network teams for system dependencies, and supporting the deployment and administration of Intune are also part of the job responsibilities. Monitoring logs, system health, and conducting proactive performance tuning will help optimize system performance.
