Key Responsibilities: Material Procurement: Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services for construction and real estate development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for the best prices and terms. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment, tracking inventory levels to ensure timely restocking and prevent project delays. Cost Management: Ensure procurement activities stay within the allocated budget and actively seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Order Management: Place and track orders for construction materials and supplies, ensuring timely deliveries to meet project schedules. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the required specifications and compliance standards. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues or delays promptly and ensuring smooth communication. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities for senior management. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transportation and delivery of purchased materials to the construction site or warehouse, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the company’s policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction, real estate, or manufacturing sectors. Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials, supplies, and the procurement process. Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors. Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure materials meet specifications and quality standards. Communication: Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve procurement issues, delays, and discrepancies quickly and efficiently. Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations across our residential and/or commercial development projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Supervise all on-site construction activities. Coordinate work among subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams. Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to project schedules. Ensure the site is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times. Quality & Compliance: Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and specifications. Report defects and ensure prompt rectification. Maintain quality control procedures and documentation. Health & Safety: Enforce safety protocols and regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site. Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary on-site contact between workers, subcontractors, and the main office. Provide daily or weekly progress reports to the Project Manager. Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants as required. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain site records including deliveries, inspections, and daily logs. Prepare site reports, incident logs, and photographic records. Assist in managing materials inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction or real estate development sector. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficient in basic computer tools (MS Office; familiarity with construction management software is a plus). Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various site locations. Work Environment: Primarily field-based, with regular site visits and occasional office meetings. May require extended hours and weekend work based on project needs.
