Angular Developer

Skillset:

• Strong hands-on development experience using Angular 14+, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with spatial database, specifically PostgreSQL
• Experience in engineering cloud solutions and architectures on one or more cloud providers - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms.
• Experience in using Web mapping API experience (ArcGIS Javascript. Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, Google Maps, Google Earth Engine) will be a plus.

JD:

• Design, develop and implement the World Bank Geospatial Enterprise Platform (e.g. https://maps.worldbank.org); guide the project development to ensure alignment of the platforms with business short-term and long-term needs.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability requirements are met by maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies, research emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations on implementation.
• Utilize programming languages like Angular, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and, Container Orchestration services including Docker and variety of AWS tools and service.
• Remain current in state-of-the-art software frameworks and programming methods.
