About The Role
The Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) team is seeking a proactive and technically skilled SDK Integration Specialist to join our expanding mobile solutions division. In this role, you will serve as a key technical support resource, assisting clients and internal teams with the seamless integration of our Android and iOS SDKs into their mobile applications. Your expertise will ensure smooth onboarding, troubleshooting, and optimal use of our SDKs, contributing to the broader goal of enhancing digital payment experiences globally. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in mobile app development, a comprehensive understanding of SDK architecture within mobile ecosystems, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development. A strong understanding of mobile SDK architecture, lifecycle management, and best practices for integration is essential. Proficiency with development tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, Gradle, and CocoaPods is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging complex issues across multiple platforms. Effective communication skills are vital for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and conducting knowledge transfer sessions. A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude are also important, along with a passion for delivering high-quality technical support. Preferred qualifications include experience working with third-party SDKs and APIs, familiarity with REST APIs, mobile analytics, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile app deployment processes. Experience in customer-facing technical roles or developer advocacy is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams during SDK integration and troubleshooting processes.
- Act as a technical liaison, facilitating effective communication between clients and Mastercards development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure successful SDK adoption and optimal performance.
- Debug and resolve integration issues, escalations, and edge cases encountered across Android and iOS platforms.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive integration guides, sample code, FAQs, and other relevant documentation to support clients and internal teams.
- Conduct technical walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions with client development teams to facilitate understanding and best practices.
- Test SDK functionality within real-world application environments to ensure reliability, usability, and performance standards are met.
- Proactively identify areas for SDK improvement based on customer feedback and usage data, contributing to ongoing product enhancements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to influence the SDK roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical insights.
