Android Framework Developer - Hardware Abstraction Layer

As an ideal candidate for this position, you should possess a consolidated set of skills including proficiency in C++, Android Framework Development, and Automotive domain knowledge. Specifically, you are required to have a deep understanding of Android Automotive OS, familiarity with Android framework, VHAL, and Power HAL. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Working closely with the Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and Power HAL teams to integrate vehicle-specific functionality and power management features into the Android Automotive platform. - Collaborating with OTA update engineering teams to ensure seamless and secure delivery of software updates to Android Automotive vehicles. - Defining requirements, implementing update mechanisms, and overseeing update rollout strategies. Moreover, you are expected to have hands-on experience in: - Adding Vendor native services - Implementing Automotive Android Power services - Conducting Socket programming - Managing System Partition Proficiency in OOPs, C++, Java, Kotlin programming languages, Android SDK, Android Studio IDE, and Android framework APIs related to audio is essential for Android automotive development. Additionally, knowledge of automotive-specific hardware components, CAN, SPI, and I2C communication will be beneficial for success in this role.,
