Android Developer

As a Software Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Your role will involve working with outside data sources and APIs, unit-testing code for robustness, and continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Additionally, you will work on bug fixing, improving application performance, and have in-depth knowledge of Web 2.0 strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Work with outside data sources and APIs - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability - Have in-depth and hands-on knowledge of Web 2.0 strategies. Including experience in designing and building UI components - Work on bug fixing and improving application performance - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency **Qualifications Required:** - 3 years of Android Application development experience - Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app - Experience with Android SDK and Frameworks - Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Google APIs, etc.) - Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle - Experience with Docker, Cloud Technologies is a plus Please note that having proficient communication skills in English (Oral & Written) and being a motivated team player are soft skills that will be beneficial in this role.,
