Android Developer

Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in native app development using Kotlin/Java. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and scalable app architecture, along with a keen sense for UI/UX design and performance optimization.

Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, QA) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Implement modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture).
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across a wide range of Android devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, Micro Service, Firebase, and other third-party SDKs.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide the team in adopting modern Android tools and libraries.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, frameworks, and Google guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure Material Design compliance and pixel-perfect UI implementation.

Requirements:

• BSc/BTech/BE degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.

• Strong command of Kotlin and Java, with solid understanding of the Android SDK.

• Experience with Jetpack Components (Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).

• Proficiency in asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flows).

• Experience in UI/UX design principles, adaptive layouts, and custom views.

• Knowledge of unit testing and automation frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Experience with Play Store deployment and app release management.

• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is a plus.

• Knowledge of REACT Native is a plus.

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI frameworks.

• Exposure to modular app development and multi-module architecture.

• Understanding of security best practices and data encryption on Android.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
