Android Developer

As an experienced Android Developer with over 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile software applications using Java, OOPs, Sqlite, Android framework, and Google Map. Your expertise should include working knowledge of web services like JSON, XML parsing, and a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. You must have published multiple original Android apps on Playstore and possess proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals with a focus on object-oriented design. Your duties and responsibilities will include having a strong knowledge of Android SDK, various Android versions, and adapting to different screen sizes. You should be familiar with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services, Android UI design principles, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Additionally, you should be able to design applications with natural user interfaces, utilize additional sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers, and understand the open-source Android ecosystem along with common libraries for tasks. Furthermore, you are expected to have the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, expertise in benchmarking and optimization, knowledge of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines, proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, and familiarity with continuous integration. Experience with PhoneGap/Cordova would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or M.Tech. However, exceptional candidates with relevant experience and knowledge in the field will also be considered.
