Job Role: 2 + years of Android app development experience using Native Java and Flutter DART is mandatory Location: Chennai Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated Android Developer with experience in Java, Flutter (Dart), and IoT technologies for our client based out of Chennai. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications for a variety of platforms, including mobile devices and IoT integrations. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Android applications using Java and Flutter (Dart) for both native and cross-platform projects. Android app development experience using Native Java and Flutter DART is mandatory Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to implement innovative features and ensure seamless user experiences. Integrate IoT devices with Android applications, utilizing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other communication protocols. Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and stability. Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing code for better functionality and readability. Collaborate with the team in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning. Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve application performance. Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development, IoT integration, and best practices in Android development. Participate in the end-to-end application development lifecycle, from concept through deployment. Required Skills and Qualifications: 2+ years of professional experience in Android development using Java, Flutter (DART) Proficiency in IOT for building cross-platform mobile applications. Strong understanding of Android development best practices, including UI/UX design principles, and MVVM architecture. Hands-on experience with IoT development and integration, including working with sensors, devices, and communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.). Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, etc.) and APIs integration. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend integration. Understanding of mobile app performance optimization and debugging tools. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IoT frameworks and protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or similar. Knowledge of database management systems, including SQLite and Firebase. Experience with CI/CD tools and processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
