Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Build user interfaces with XML layouts, ensuring responsive and modern design.
• Use OkHttp for network requests to connect with RESTful APIs.
• Implement data storage and retrieval using SQLite database.
• Integrate and manage push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Perform background operations using Work Manager for reliable task execution.
• Work with Google Play Services, AndroidX libraries (Recycler View, Card View, Constraint Layout, Web Kit, Work Manager).
• Integrate third-party libraries such as Glide for image loading and J2V8 for JavaScript engine support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Proficiency in

  Kotlin

  (preferred) or

  Java

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries available for common tasks.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Good understanding of version control tools like Git.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (View Model, Live Data, Navigation, Room, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, JUnit).
• Experience with modern architecture patterns like MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Knowledge of Firebase, Google Play Console, and app deployment.
• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
