Role Overview: As an Android Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, writing clean and efficient code, optimizing applications for speed and efficiency, and ensuring the reliability and functionality of applications through unit and UI tests. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest Android development trends and technologies, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and work with backend developers to integrate APIs seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features and improvements. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring high-quality standards. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies. - Implement unit and UI tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings. - Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services seamlessly. - Ensure that applications comply with security standards and are fully optimized for Android OS updates. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of released Android applications. - Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Composer, and Java for Android development. - Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus. - Experience with iOS is a plus. - In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, APIs, and development tools. - Experience with Android architecture components (e.g., Coroutine, ViewModel, Room, etc.). - Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for mobile applications. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git. - Experience with hardware and Bluetooth communication (e.g., BluetoothManager). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. - Ability to work as part of a diverse multinational team and across multiple time zones. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.,
