Position Overview

passionate and confident Anchor Intern (Crime News)

As an Anchor Intern, you will work closely with our editorial and production teams assisting in story research, scriptwriting, social media coordination, and occasionally presenting short-form crime news updates for Bold Media's digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

On-Camera & Digital Presentation

  • Support anchoring of daily or weekly

    crime news segments

    and

    breaking news updates

    for Bold Media's digital platforms.
  • Record short-format news videos, explainers, and voiceovers for online publication.
  • Participate in mock newscasts, rehearsals, and live digital broadcasts to build on-screen confidence.

Editorial & Research Support

  • Track and monitor police briefings, FIRs, and court developments to identify potential stories.
  • Conduct background research and verify facts for ongoing crime-related cases.
  • Assist reporters and producers in field coverage, interviews, and investigative pieces.

Writing & Content Production

  • Draft clear, concise, and factual

    scripts for digital news videos and web stories

  • Collaborate with editors and video producers to create storyboards and production notes.
  • Curate and adapt crime news updates for

    social media platforms

    such as YouTube, Instagram, and X (Twitter).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in

    Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies

    , or a related field.
  • Strong

    on-camera presence

    , voice clarity, and confidence in front of the camera.
  • Excellent command of

    English and Hindi

    (both written and spoken).
  • Ethical approach to crime reporting and sensitivity in handling distressing stories.
  • Strong research and storytelling abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Familiarity with

  • Understanding of
