Analyst Vendor Development

As a Supplier Development Engineer at Gates Corporation, your primary responsibility will be to closely track and ensure timely development of new components and processes at suppliers. You will coordinate with a cross-functional team to support activities and ensure flawless launches with suppliers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing child parts - Having detailed knowledge of all PPAP documentation, preparing/reviewing PPAP documentation with vendors, and coordinating for PPAP clearance with QA for new parts - Coordinating with Quality for part clearance (PPAP/PROTO) - Following up for development timeline, including releasing drawings, regular visits to vendors, and meeting development timelines - Conducting Part Layout inspection - Implementing cost-saving initiatives - Conducting ZBC and cost comparison from 2-3 vendors for price/supplier approval - Selecting and approving new vendors with SQA In order to succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - College/university degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Engineering/Technical - Experience in Vendor Development function with a medium/large company (MNC preferred) - 2 to 4 years of industrial experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes, SQA, vendor development, or equivalent Additionally, the required skills for this role include: - Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, insert, etc. - Good communication skills Join Gates Corporation and contribute to the successful development and launch of new components and processes at suppliers.,
