Analyst Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect at Baker Hughes IET DaVinci Lab, you will play a crucial role in converting requirements into architecture and design. Your primary focus will be on designing and aligning technology using standardized patterns to enable scale, stability, and consistency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Providing expertise in Design, Architecture, Development, Continuous Integration, and Delivery to foster constant innovation. - Ensuring continuous business improvement in alignment with benchmarks and standards. - Leading impact assessments and making decisions related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations, and implementation strategy. - Aligning solutions to meet market needs based on a deep understanding of customers" industry and technology. - Introducing innovative ideas that are project-appropriate to the team. - Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans. - Collaborating with other Architects for recommendations or scheduling workshops as needed. - Driving increased efficiency across teams by eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse. **Qualifications Required:** - 1+ years of design and build experience in a public cloud environment. - Experience in designing cloud infrastructure, commercial/enterprise products, and platform as a service with container orchestration. - Proficiency in application build automation tools like Apache Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, and Git, supporting CI/CD capabilities. GitHub and GitHub actions for deployments are essential skills, while Maven and Jenkins are nice to have. - Understanding of architecture and infrastructure design. - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code development (Automation, CI/CD). - Programming experience in Cloud Formation, Terraform, Python, and Java. - Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex tasks and mentor team members. - Awareness of product positioning and key differentiators. **Nice to Have:** - Experience in designing and deploying cloud-agnostic applications (deployed on public/private cloud or on-premises servers). - Familiarity with modern development methods for writing software, test plans, automation, and release.
