As a Technology Portfolio Support Specialist at Chubb, your role will be pivotal in providing support for financial functions within the North America Technology (NA Technology) departments. Working closely with the Portfolio Controller team, you will assist in meeting financial deliverables, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and supporting various technology projects. Your responsibilities will involve aggregating and managing project portfolio plan and forecast data, collaborating with technology leads and project managers, and ensuring alignment across the technology department. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to report information at a summary level. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, necessitating strong organizational skills. Analytical capabilities will be essential to review and interpret financial results, identify variances, and investigate discrepancies. Your role will be instrumental in supporting financial operations within NA Technology and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial activities. Key Responsibilities: - Providing support for resource allocation to maintain up-to-date allocations within the Technology group - Assisting in adhering to organizational standards and timelines related to financial activities - Conducting financial analysis to identify variances and errors, and providing updates to key stakeholders - Collaborating with the IT Finance department for monthly reporting and financial deliverables - Participating in the annual planning process alongside Tech delivery leads and project managers - Preparing project portfolio reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis - Supporting contract and invoice management processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Previous experience in financial analysis and planning - Familiarity with financial reporting standards and procedures - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Ability to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment - Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with Clarity, Coupa, Apptio, and SharePoint is a plus - Knowledge of insurance operations and project management is a plus Join Chubb to be part of a leading global insurance company and experience a culture that values employee empowerment, innovation, and excellence.
