Analyst - Mortgage Bookkeeping and Accounting

As a Senior Analyst specializing in Mortgage Bookkeeping and Accounting, your role will involve providing virtual business process services to a global investment management company. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of journal entries in compliance with US accounting regulations and company policies using Accounting Software Applications. Daily reconciliations of cash movements across banking records, loan records, and general ledger will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to reconcile key balance sheet accounts monthly to maintain consistency between external records (such as Asset Management System, Bank Records, Servicer Records) and the general ledger, including loan inventory. Embracing new general ledger accounting software to identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and enhancement of current accounting processes will be expected. Moreover, you will be supporting external auditors during annual audit and quality review activities. To qualify for this role, you should ideally possess 1-2+ years of experience in US Mortgage accounting and proficiency in NetSuite online. Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc., are necessary. Excellent oral and written communication abilities will be essential, as you may need to present to senior management. While a Bachelor's Degree in Finance is required, having an MBA, CFA, or any other Post-Graduate Degree will be advantageous. The ability to work under pressure on time-sensitive and data-intensive recurring tasks, along with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. This position is based in Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, and the working hours are from IST 5:30 pm to 2:30 am. The salary range offered is competitive and among the best in the industry.,
