Job Description

As a member of the Insights product team at Guidepoint, your primary responsibility will be to support the Global Healthcare Insights team based in India. Your role will involve content creation, research coverage, and process management to provide actionable insights to Guidepoint's institutional investment and corporate clients. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for monitoring a coverage universe of public and private companies within the Medtech, Lifesciences tools, and Healthcare Services sector. Your tasks will include tracking key industry trends, news flows, earnings releases, and investor presentations. You will also be required to generate original ideas for discussion, moderate teleconferences featuring industry experts, and review teleconference transcripts to ensure the quality of content. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor a coverage universe of public and private companies within the specified sectors - Track key industry trends, news flows, earnings releases, and investor presentations - Identify and maintain a pipeline of company and industry-specific topics - Generate original ideas for discussion - Create and moderate teleconferences featuring industry experts - Review teleconference transcripts to summarize key discussion points - Ensure compliance with Guidepoint policies and protocols - Vet experts" relevance to Insights Teleconferences and ensure profile accuracy - Identify and recruit additional industry experts to the Expert Network - Manage and develop relationships with experts and clients **Qualifications Required:** - PhD or Masters degree in STEM or Life Sciences (Advanced Degrees preferred or equivalent experience) - 1-2 years of preferred work experience at a financial services, consulting, or research firm focusing on EMEA Medtech, Lifesciences tools, and Healthcare Services - Understanding of institutional buy-side/sell-side research and investing workflows - Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment - Effective time management and organizational skills - Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate with professionals at all levels - Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn - Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team - Fluent in English, both written and verbal In addition to these responsibilities and qualifications, Guidepoint offers competitive compensation, employee medical coverage, a central office location, an entrepreneurial environment, autonomy, fast decision-making, and a casual work environment.
